Airport Options: The three most convenient airports for Napa are listed below. All will require a rental car or car service for the final drive to Napa.

  • San Francisco (SFO): 65 miles (~1.5-2-hour drive to Napa depending on traffic). Offers the most nonstop flight options, but traffic to Napa can be heavy, especially during weekday afternoons.

  • Oakland (OAK): 75 miles (~1.5-2-hour drive to Napa depending on traffic). A good balance of flight availability and slightly easier airport access than SFO.

  • Sacramento (SMF): 60 miles (~1-1.5-hour drive time to Napa depending on traffic). Typically the easiest drive, smaller airport = less congestion, and straightforward route into Napa.
