It is a pleasure to announce Jonjie Lockman as the newly elected National President of Women for WineSense, the premier wine education and networking organization for wine industry professionals and wine enthusiasts. Jonjie will follow in the footsteps of many accomplished women who have led the organization over its 24 year history. Jonjie served as the Grand Event Director prior to being elected to the role of National President. She is also the Chief Operating Officer at Intervine located in the Napa Valley. Intervine is the leading distributor of wine to the global airline and cruise line industries.

Before joining Intervine Jonjie served as Vice President for Turner Broadcasting/CNN where she specialized in process management and acquisition integrations. Jonjie has a Bachelor’s Degree from North Carolina State University and an MBA as well as a Master’s of Science in Operations Management from Georgia State University. She is a former international board member of the Association of Business Process Management Professionals and former CFO of the American Wine Society’s Napa Valley Chapter.
Women for WineSense is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1990 on the principals of taking action and making a difference in the wine industry. With nearly 1,000 members its chapters are located in major cities across the United States including Dallas, Napa/Sonoma, Pittsburgh, Orlando, Portland, Rochester, San Francisco, Seattle, and the Texas Hill Country.
